I don't know what feature I'm missing. I have the same problem with operating systems, Office Software, games, the whole works. Kidding aside. I have chessbase 6. I am considering and bidding on chessbase 8 on ebay and others. One of the things that really gets my attention is to pay for new software and within a couple of months, a new version arrives. If I had the sense to buy exactly what I needed and not what I wanted, I would be spending far less on software. Chessbase to me is like any other software manufacture. Upgrade or die. Chessb ase 7 has problems with xp. Chessbase 8, I suspect, is within a few months of being replaced. When I look at the Chessbase sites there is no longer any hipe about the software. I would be ready to make a small bet that if Chessbase is to remain as a major player, there will be a new release this year. Don
