Bf1 Nd4 = (2.20) Depth: 13 00:01:41.66 51641kN Zappa plays the simple Qxd3; it sees that it can get a good N vs very bad B ending a full pawn up - almost certainly winning for black. After the depth 13 line given, in fact white is already lost, because the queenside pawns cannot be protected by the bishop. As a human I think I'd prefer to go for the ending here because there is no danger - at worst white will manage a draw. [D]8/p4pk1/3p2p1/Pp2p3/1P1n2P1/6KP/4q3/2Q2R2 b - - 0 38 1...Qd3 2. Kg2 Ne2 3. Kg3 f6 = (2.86) Depth: 13 00:01:47.69 69844kN Zappa thinks it can win a few pawns or an exchange with Qd3. I actually like the fact that it exchanges queens - the N+4P ending will of course be hopeless for white. [D]8/p4pk1/3p2p1/Pp2p3/1P1n2P1/6KP/4q3/2Q2R2 b - - 0 38; 1...Nd4 2. Kf2 Ne6 3. Rg8 Nf4 4. Rc7 = (0.28) Depth: 10 00:03:11.69 116749kN I think its safe to say zappa does not understand this position, although it is becoming a little more clear at depth 10. I think black may have chances here, but the h passer is very strong. Also note that when the Knight is forced to the kingside to defend against the h pawn, white can create another passed pawn on the queenside. enjoy, anthony another note: Zappa has relatively little knowledge about endings, pawn structure, etc. This suggests that it is not that Chezzz is missing terms, but that they are too strong.
