Clearly something is wrong, and only with Rebel Century 4. All other programs (and I do have most) show a nice gain from the old P3-933 to this new machine. Actually, I just ran a benchmark position on my laptop P3-700 and got Century4 to play Rxg7+ (old Rebel 10 benchmark) on ply 10 after 77 seconds. Then, the P4-3.06GHz (with "Strongest settings" enabled!) took 125 seconds doing the same thing... Amazing. This on a machine where Crafty 19.02 typically reaches 1350 KNps in early middlegame... I am intrigued and will try to look some more, thanks again. PK
