By all means stop posting here and get a life - but here's my justification for
the remark:

* Kasparov has not played a computer in a match of this type since DB in '97

* in the meantime, one of the hottest topics was, "how good was DB really?"

* therefore, this is the first direct comparison. It could hardly be more
important

* oh - and by the way - millions of people were following the game on the web

* one other minor little thing - millions of people were watching it on TV. It
was the first chess event to be televised in about 30 years - so the players
should have put on a good show for the crowd. They didn't. Forget the idea that
any TV producer will stick their neck on the chopping block again to televise
chess anytime in the next 30 years

DJ and GK have done a GRAVE disservice to the game. The match ended as a draw.
Chess ended as the loser.

People everywhere will be tossing aside chess - and "getting a life".
