I'm sorry you think re-reading the post was a waste of time. Kasparov was turned down with his offer, and no one questioned Kramnik when he offered draws in the last two games! So calling Kasparov a coward is little bit much IMO. The game would have lasted for hours if DJ played correctly. How could Kasparov know DJ was going to play a5?? and blow it? So the DJ Team played it smart, and turned around and offered the draw! In a sense Kasparov and the DJ Team both win! But really if anyone must be disappointed it must be Kasparov himself! Now knowing it wouldn't have been too hard to win the match. So I do agree that it was a shame Kasparov didn't try for at least 10 more moves, but he already made the first draw offer after Rxc3!:( Apparently, Kasparov offered the draw the first time, as he overlooked Bc1 to a3 maneuver, and also he said he was being distracted by the operator for leaving the table frequently. Sigh... Terry
