That would be my judgement also, but computers have a nasty habit of finding the one moves that saves. They do this over and over which is just incredibly frustrating, just look at game three, who would have thought black could survive that? I think humans often like to setup some kind of minefield, get into positions where the opponent is under pressure and needs to be careful not to make a weak move. It doesn't work with computers, they will calmly find a way through the maze, and possibly come out on the other side in a better position. >All the GM's could be wrong, is the stupidest thing you've said about this game! Hey no need for that language Terry, one Vincent is enough! I generally would trust the evaluation of GM's more than computers, but having a positional advantage and profitting from it is two different things, particular against computers. >The only thing that annoys me is Kasparov drew early as he didn't want the >stress of a very long tedious technical battle with the computer! > >He could of won, but for fear of losing with a blunder under such stressful play >against the machine, he took the safe way out! > >It's a shame, as Kasparov dominated the match! Me two, but a number of factors played a role here I guess, primarily he just didn't want to lose. -S.
