I think that the draw in game 2, the loss in game 3 and the surprise "Sac" in
game 5 all "shocked" GM K. I think he was tired and just did not want to lose
the match (nothing wrong with that). He fought his hardest in Game 1 and slowly
went down hill from there.

I have always thought that the comps would gain an even greater advantage if the
game was always played out to "mate" or lack of material draw. I do not think
this should be a rule, just a strategy to get the most points for the comps (and
frustrate the GM's).

I use to think a long match might favor the human GM, however, now I see that
the longer the match continues, the more likely it is that the GM gets tired and
frustrated.

I am happy with these matches overall, I would like to see less preparation for
the GM, perhaps some tournament events (unlikely due to FIDE) and the comps
playing it out to the end (not a complaint, these matches have been great), just
my observations.

Best Regards,
Chris Carson
