I had also read that it was about 2400 on a slow pentium. I bought the program about 3 or 4 years ago. I can't really evaluate it on the basis of strength, because it plays far better than this class A player. I don't notice any weaknesses in its play at all, and the endgame strength impressed me. (i.e. White Ke3, Pg4, Ph2 Black: Pg5, Kd5. Fastest win for White is Kf2!!!!, and CM4000 finds it in about 10 to 15 seconds on a Pentium 133! It would have taken me a couple of days to come to that conclusion!) In terms of user interface: I don't like the brown board and pieces. To my eyes it makes the pieces look too much alike. Other than that, the user interface is easy to use. John Coffey
