Subject: Free Rebel 12 vs Commercial Rebel XP for dos

Is Rebel 12 worth the download if one already has Rebel XP for dos?
Are they equal in strength?
Or can one simply change the parameters of the commercial Rebel XP to make it
the same as the newer Rebel 12?
