To remove screen flicker, you must choose *higher* refresh rates (higher than
60...70 Hz), not lower.

I have best experiences with the VBEHZ tool from the Uwe Sieber website. With a
refresh rate of 75...80 Hz, flicker should be gone. To come into effect, you
must start it always before you start a DOS task in Windows. Probably, it will
be best to include it into a startup batchfile for the DOS program.

The radical solution: LCD monitor :o))
