Because it is the prefered, or pre choosen, OS for most new computers.....

Whatever people say about it, its the best and most stable OS I have ever used!
I specially likes the automatic security upgrades. Just like what I have on my
virus checker. :-)

Anyway, whatever we feel about Microsoft, XP is very common and a Rebel version
that worked on it would be very welcome by quite a few people.
