Which is the most positional engine? Indeed! If I use the MOST KNOWLEDGE in the engine configuration dialogue box, favor knights over bishops, use a book of my own that plays the NIMZOVCH KING'S PAWN defence on a fast machine with lots of ram and a long time control will it PLAY like Nimzovich--will it attack squares of one color, and use prophlaxis like NIMZO did? No computer (program) I have seen FAVORS closed positions--although the W- chess engine in POWER CHESS ( for about $10.00) comes close but isnt that strong. Hiarcs is more positioanl than the usual chess base stable of ponies..........HOW TO CONFIGURE REBEL 12 to play like NIMZOVICH, ARON?
