Call for papers: Computer-Chess !

The Research Telegraph is a new e-journal that publishes high-quality research
papers of broad general interest and scientific significance in the areas of
Biology, Space Science, Physics, Computer-Science and related fields; with a
special part dedicated to Computer-Chess!

The Journal welcomes submissions of articles from programmers, engine-testers,
computer-specialists and scientists involved in computer chess. A few
computer-chess related magazines are available nowadays, but they can’t cover
the details of chess-theory, programming and game-theory. Articles may describe
theoretical or data-based projects related to computer-chess e.g. hashtable
theory, compiling, chess evaluation, opening-book theory, tablebases, pawn
hashing, move ordering, iterative deepening and aspiration search, transposition
hashtables, recursive null moves, pruning theory, quiescence search, static
exchange evaluator (SEE), “limited” razoring, pondering, fractional extensions,
attack arrays, brute-force theory, neuronal-nets, engine-learning, parallel
search, special search algorhithms, negascout search, engine-performance, lazy
evaluation etc….The possibilities are nearly endless.

The Research Telegraph publishes two research formats; Research papers
(Articles) and short Research Letters, in addition to Review Articles and short
Communications.
Articles should address the journal’s topics and follow our Editorial
Guidelines.
For details visit the journal’s website at:

So, if you want to produce a publication out of your data from a thesis,
university projects or private studies – this is the place to go. Don’t be
afraid of publishing your results, even small contributions are welcomed.
This could be very helpful for all engine-programmers in the future and provides
the opportunity to gather computer-chess related papers on one, easy accessible
place.

Chief-Editor
Dr. Axel Schumacher

P.S. Possible co-editors and paper referees are welcomed too.
