When you load beta5 for instance, beta5 is for sure working now despite the word "beta5" is not shown up on the screen at all. However, you must understand that beta5, beta6, etc. are not really engines. They only belong to personalities (engine parameters) of the same Rebel engine. Once beta5 is loaded, if you want to know what its playing style is, just take a look at the engine parameters or personalities of the Rebel12 engine by typing the command "Alt-D". Similarly, if you load "Kasparov" personality instead, the word "REBEL" is still shown up there, okay. Eran
