I see when I look at games that they have not positional understanding of simple
things like pawns endgames
they are also far from being perfect in the middle game.
you can see the games in the match between kasparov and depper blue
kasparov got positional advantage in some of the games in the middle games
(games1,4,5).

they do not understand that the position that kasparov resigned to deeper blue
is a draw and it proves that they have much to learn in tactics

The only reason that they are close to be grandmasters is that grandmasters are
weak and not that computer programs are strong.

I see in games between computers that there are stupid mistakes that computer
programs do
