Congratulations! I have been trying to get Chessbase to fix some GUI problems
for over a year with no results. All problems in the database functions. For
instance the "F2" key only works sometimes with alternate headers. When trying
to "highlight" some games for copying to another database the mouse pointer
sometimes drags the header you start on instead of just starting the "highlight"
function for copying. Also they changed the way the "Copy" icon works to where
it basically does nothing since you now have to also go back to the directory
list and call up the directory you want to copy games to and then you also have
to use <ctrl v> to actually copy the games to the new database. You then have
to agree that what you have asked the machine to do with several mouse clicke
and <ctrl> functions is actually what you want. What the hell are computers for
if you have to do all the work manually? These functions work fine in Junior 7
so why were they screwed up and why not fix them?
Jim
