I haven't paid that much attention.  However, Michel used some 6 piece
files in Paris, in 1997 at the WMCCC tournament, and I think that at least
in the game against Rebel, the EGTBs found a winning line, although nothing
says that the outcome would have been different without them...

I'll try to look, to see if any odd mates have come up.
