Subject: Rebel 12 node count problem

When using Rebel 12 analysis mode i noticed, on my 2200 system,
that after about 1,5 to 2 hours the node count drops from about 700.000 nodes
per second to about 200.000 nodes per second. Century 4 does the same. What is
going on?

PS Beta4 plays more exciting chess than Beta1, it seems. Have found no flaws in
either engines yet, after having analyzed tens of games with both. My
compliments to Ed.
