Although it has been a while for new Crafty SE Update, I did email Crafty 19.03
SE with "krafty" personality settings, and UCI settings/files for both
personalities and engine parameters to those who previously requested to be on
the email distribution. If you receive this email and no longer wish to be
included, kindly reply to the email with subject heading "remove" and you will
be deleted from future emails.

If you wish to be emailed the lastest version and be placed on future email
distributions, kindly send me an email with the subject heading "include". You
may remove yourself from the mailing list at any time by following the
instructions stated above. The email list is only used to email Crafty SE
versions and for no other reason.

A copy of the text of the email is include below.

Hello All,

Same version as on Bob Hyatt's FTP site except it has the different
personalities by using the "krafty" command. Also included are the UCI files,
for those that want to import Crafty as a UCI engine. Main advantage is that
you qucikly select the personality in the CB GUI or change engine parameters and
extensions. There is no help/support file for UCI - intended only for the
experienced. I am only able to provide limited email support for those that
venture. Also works with Arena, but seems to work better Fritz 7. There may be
a bug between Arena and Crafty that I have not been able to track down - Crafty
sometimes hangs after leaving book. Not tested under other UCI GUI's.

For those that do try importing Crafty as a UCI engine, read the instructions
provided the wb2uci (not provided here and set up 3 folders in your
Chessbase/engines directory - Crafty,SE,ST. The SE folder will have the
wb2uci.eng and the personality files settings. The ST folder will have the
engine files with the parameters that you can modify. Running Crafty under SE
or ST is typcailly mutually exclusive unless you want to run two instances of
crafty. The Crafty folder has the common files that both SE and ST use.

The Crafty executable enclosed should run under all Pentium and AMD processors
and it has the most optimized code for the type of processor it is running on.

It will also run under the Winboard, etc. GUI without any of the UCI files.

A big THANKS to Bob for sharing Crafty with all of us. I know for me personally
it has provided hours and hours of enjoyment. I am not sure if my wife has the
same sentiments - but that's a different story. ;>)
