I think that you should not care about rating in the internet because it means
nothing.

The opponent may be a team of machine and a GM and there is no way to prevent
cheatinhg.

If I want to get rating that is bigger than 3000 there is no problem to do it by
selecting my opponent.
There are a lot of ways to cheat.
I can have a friend that use a strong program against other players and lose on
purpose against me in a prepared line.

I think that the only games that are important to care about are comp-comp games
that are played by users like the ssdf games or chessfun games or Leo's
tournaments.

I do not care about games against humans on the internet because I have no way
to know how many of the humans cheat and use a computer and it is impossible to
catch humans who use machines if they use them only in part of the moves.
