Slater Wold has tested AMD against Intel dual's, just last year. His email is swold@swbell.net Aaron Gordon has built and tested several AMD dual's. Some radically overclocked, some not. He has tested several with Crafty. His email is aarontay@mochamail.com I'm sure one of the issues will be that yes, Intel Xeon's are faster, but AMD Athlon's are faster *if* they are overclocked, which AMD's do well (with the right mobo), and Intel's don't, no matter the mobo. So if you like tinkering with your mobo settings, (and saving $$$), you'll probably still like Athlon's. If you don't like to tinker - (and got the bucks), stick with Intel. Your new test, especially with hyperthreading, will be very interesting. David
