>(perhaps Hyperthreading will give the Xeons an edge).

MP2000 = 1.67 GHz
2.4 / 1.67 = 1.44

MP2600 = 2.13 GHz
2.13 GHz * 1.44 = 3.06 GHz

There is one slight difference, however. The 2.4 GHz Xeon only runs on a 400 MHz
bus, right? All dual-AMD processors use a 133 MHz bus (equivalent to Intel's 533
MHz). The Xeon 3.06 GHz will run on a 533 MHz FSB.

Is the Xeon 3.06 even out yet? I don't see it listed for sale.
