Has or is anyone experiencing problems in running either engine tournamnents or using the Kibitz funcition in the Fritz 8 interface? What I have been noticing is that one side in the engine window is showing almost NO k/Ns. I am using an AMD Athlon 2600+ and the kN/s should be quite high. If I use the Fritz 7 or Deep Fritz or Hiarcs 8 interface to run the Fritz 8 engine vs Fritz 7 or Deep Fritz 7, everything runs just fine. The k/Ns for both sides will be averaging in the 1200+ range. Has anyone else noticed this bug? Is there a service pack available for Fritz 8 other than the one that Chessbase is offering? Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
