I am unsure if the Xeons will perform better than the p4 or not. At any rate I seem guaranteed my 2600 goal plus a little more if your figures bear out on the new chipset. Its hard for me to estimate what i dont have in hand. One thing is certain though...On a workstation platform with the new chipset my results will not be any lower than yours and may perhaps be significantly better.
