2750 Seems high to me too Michael. Like I say it depends on so many factors such
as the performance of the totally new chipset that it is difficult to speculate
at this point. Not to mention the fact that these are just-released Xeons and no
testing has yet been conducted on one in the workstation platform. They may or
may not perform better than the 3.06 p4 but i think it is safe to assume that
the workstation motherboard will have superior performance over a PC
motherboard. 2750 is on up there i'll agree but it may wind up fooling us all.
Even with 2600 kNs though I will be pleased and I am guaranteed that I think at
minimum based on figures from home computers.
