Which means, they also won't play identical games. I have compared that with previos versions. In some positions, solving times are very similar to identical, but sometimes also very different. This may lead to small Elo performance differences too, although I couldn't predict which one is a bit stronger usually (test differences were in both directions). Probably more important: If you find a nice strong Crafty move in a game posted somewhere, it may be that you can't reproduce it on your system, IOW you can't rely on the version number alone.
