Didn't say that it was.  I said the "sluggishness" is not necessarily caused by
a poor process scheduler.  I/O is a big problem.   And that is _all_ that I
said.

If you run SCSI disks, you won't see _nearly_ the "choppiness" you see with IDE
drives.
