Perhaps...I am not anti-AMD Dave...But, before i_do_ switch to an AMD they are
going to have to_show_me that they are faster than the 3.06 Xeons (without
overclocking the high end chips which every educated person here says is
unwise). I have already taken figures from 2 AMD 2600 cpus one a single xp the
other an overclocked mp and neither were even close to 3.06 Xeon speed. When
someone can post the kNs on the fritz server where i can_see_it then I will
switch. But AMD does not have a factory chip at this time which can make the
claim. And that is the truth.
