I'm starting to plan for my next long tournament double round robin at 40/2 (40 Moves/2 Hours) to start in a month or so. It will use a unified book - most likely Hiracs 8 tournament book. Right now I'm thinking it would be somewhere between 24 to 32 programs - a combination of commercial,amatuer, special editions or cloned versions with modifications and beta amatuer/commercial engines. The programs that I plan to be in it right now are as follows: Ruffian Junior 7 Fritz 8 Fritz 7 Chess Tiger 14 (unless somebody can tell me how to run Chess Tiger 15 in CB tourney) Shredder 7 Crafty (latest stock version) Crafty SE (modified verson) YACE Comet 55 Gandalf 5 Deep Sjeng 1.0 Hiarcs 8 The King ( may be modified settings) Nimzo 8 Tao 5.4 Shredder 6 or 6.02 Movei under consideration: Little Goliath 3.9 Gambit Tiger The King (other modified settings) Deep Sjeng 1.0 (other modified settings) Fritz 6 or 5.32 Crafty (other modified settings) Hiarcs 7.32 Also any amatuer/commercial engine-x that a programmer would want me to play at these long time controls - email me if interested.
