The structure of your sentence is interesting. You basically say: red = blue + green yellow = red + purple blue = yellow + orange If we take out all of the operators, we have: red blue green yellow red purple blue yellow orange If you take the first two colors in each row and combine them, you get the last color on the row below it (with the last row wrapping around to the first row). So, on the first row, you have red and blue as the first two colors, and that makes up purple, which is the last on the row below it. Yellow and red make up orange, and blue and yellow make up green. So, you can say that it is true that there is some relationship or pattern between your statements, but I'm not sure that you can say if it's "true" or not with "reasoning" (unless I just did that).
