The solution is to have the English CD in the disk drive *before* running the program. I tried to put the CD in the drive after starting the program and it doesn't work. I didn't like having to insert the CD all the time. So the best solution (if you have the disk space) is to copy the CD to a drive partition like I did. If you don't have seperate drive partitions then you have to copy them to a directory and put a line like the following in your autoexec.bat "subst f: c:\talkcd" Once the files are copied and the above change is made, then reboot. Then run fritz5 and then click on "setup" and then "general config" and then a dialog box appears where you can tell it which drive (f) has the CD rom. john coffey
