I believe with EPD comes with time different changed for Arena! Maybe you can send an E-Mail with ideas to EPD to programmer Martin Blume (if you have time is this great). Databases ... Important for Arena is only to load a game or database in PGN format. Database options are not very interesting for Arena. We have Scid ... Maybe Martin Blume make later changes but not for the moment. Important for the moment are book options and a better tournament support. Two very big options for the next time. Interesting is a plugin to SCID (load SCID from Arena). Compare to ELOstat ... or Fritz 8 and ChessBase 8.0 ... !! Best Frank
