Fritz, Sjeng, Shredder, and Junior all support up to 8 threads. I know that
Crafty supports 4 at least and may support 8 as well. I'm sure there are other
programs out there too. Deep Tiger was developed (for a tournament it never got
to play in incidentally) then was never released to the public. I mention it
only for the sake of completeness. Sjeng is new to the "Deep" list but has had
some promising results in what few games I have seen (and it is less than $50.00
U.S.)!
