Alessio I run A90 with the latest version of winboard at ICC (acct=nudode), and not once have I run into these bugs. The only bug is in the time management. It plays either too fast OR too slow. A90 doesn't seem to understand increments. Start at 2 12, and end up losing the game with 6+ min left only bcz it didn't think long enough. OTOH, in sudden death (or even with 2 sec increment), A90 often gets flag in a won or drawn position. A90 has 30 sec left, and computer opponent has 10 sec left, yet it still loses on time. :-( My delta so far between comp vs comp and comp vs human is about 2-300 rating points. I no longer play against other comp. bcz of this. Another bug or probably a limitation of A90 is getting its pieces trapped at the corner of the board, not understanding the power of pass pawns, and being blind to king side attack. Otherwise A90 is a very intelligent program, and I like it and will wait for the next version with these fixes.
