BTW: I think the code is not only from Mr. Steinwender. I think it was a cooperation with Mr. Chrilly Donninger (Author of Nimzo). This program (MiniMAX) was part of a chessprogramming-book (Schach am PC, german languane) and is designed to _learn_ prinziples of chessprogramming, so there are nearly no speed optimizations. The source code is also available in C and delphi. Bye Martin
