Many people here blast "Blitz" as not really chess and other remarks. Point is nobody would have said that Mephisto Risc could not play real chess at 40/2 but it's not nearly as good as Fritz 8 on a XP2400+ at G/5min. Mephisto generally hit 8-10 ply while Fritz hit 10-12 when missing the ponder move and 14-16 when getting a ponder hit. Jim
