Not quite true. There were two upgrades for Shredder 6 before the release of Shredder 7. The first was a bug fix, caused by the original engine expiring after a certain date. (Probably some code accidentally left in from the version delivered to the beta testers). The second was the release of the Paderborn version of the engine, Shredder 6.02.
