fritz is very much their in-house production and is synonymous with chessbase; (beside being their flaghip)the others are merely marketed by chessbase but produced by pvt contractors, some of whom even produce versions for rival companies; also fritz has been for long unrivalled at tactics and i guess that is what most gm want a comp pogramme for; relying on their own judgement for strategy and positional play;this of course has now changed with all top programmes being good at all things to a varying degree On March 01, 2003 at 08:44:13, Jorge Pichard wrote: >At first I thought that the Strength is the reason why most people select Fritz >instead of Junior, Shredder etc.....
