With a download manager, such as "getright" http://www.getright.com/ there is no reason why anyone cannot download any size file, it can be scheduled when you're away from the pc, automatic redialing , pause and resume , set prioriy etc. I downloaded a 700MB of files (chess library big 2.7M game database & big fritz book)) in just a few days on a dial up modem.
