Hola Juan Pablo This is about the fake Hiarcs 9 beta: There are various programs that can change the resource files (icons, bitmap, menus, dialogs) of the Win32 programs that include some of them. The chessbase engines include as resources, the logo, the dialog "Initializing tablebases...", the program info (Obtained with Properties in the Explorer) and the configuration dialog with the options of the engine. All that can be easily changed with some of this programs. So it's very easy to "create" a fake engine from an original chessbase engine. Only believe in a real Hiarcs 9 beta if the e-mail has been sent to you by Mark Uniacke. Espero que hayas entendido lo anterior, mi inglés es confuso :-D Un gran saludo, my best regards, Federico On March 01, 2003 at 19:04:17, Juan Pablo Naar wrote: >Hi, i just reicieved a very strange engine from a friend, IT WAS NAMED HIARCS >9!!
