I actualy went and tried it prior to posting. Here is what I tried since you
don't get the path option in the engine window.

I copied the contents of ChessPartner5.2\engines\DeepSjeng1.0 to a folder
created in ChessBase\Engines\DeepSjeng1.0.

After creating the UCI eng you'll have a file in your engine folder named Deep
Sjeng 1.0.uci here is mine;

[ENGINE]
Name=Deep Sjeng 1.0
Author=Gian-Carlo Pascutto
Filename=C:\Program Files\ChessBase\Engines\DeepSjeng1.0\DeepSjeng.exe

Now edit C:\Program Files\ChessBase\Engines\DeepSjeng1.0\DeepSjeng.exe
to say C:\Program Files\ChessBase\Engines\DeepSjeng1.0\Patzer.per

Engine won't load.

Sarah.
