Would you happen to have any Hanimex chess computers in your collection? I
owned a Hamimex Computachess II in the early to mid 80's. It played bad chess
but I thought it was a good looking compact unit and it was quite musical when
making moves etc. Unfortunately I don't have it anymore, I gave it way about 13
years ago, but now I wish I still owned it.

I also own a Scisys 1650 and Scisys 1850. If I remember correctly the Scisys
1850 boasted a "ultra fast" 8Mhz processor, which back in those days (1986) was
considered quite fast. 6000 move opening book database! Also, if I remember
correctly the picture on the box for the Scisys 1850 showed the king and the
queen the wrong way around.

Is there anywhere on the internet where information can be found about all these
different chess computers. I'm particularly interested in technical
specifications, who programmed it and anything else that might be interesting.

Cheers,
Tom.
