Does anyone know how to make a program under ChessPartner (5.1, 5.2) interface play a sinle game with BLACK against a Winboard opponent? Tried it maybe a hundred times and it NEVER works for me. Either Gandalf 5.1 or ChessTiger 15 will even at first post a header with (say) Gandalf showing as BLACK, but after Crafty issues the first move Gandalf accepts it and IMMEDIATELY switches sides taking WHITE. This does not happen when I use ChessBase or Shredder interface against CP. It only refuses to work if White is initiated under Winboard. I am using the following command to start Crafty: winboard.exe -fcp crafty.exe -fd "C:\WinBoard\Crafty" -mg 1 -autoCallFlag false -scp "winboard232d -com 1" with the ChessPartner opponent waiting as a slave. Any help would be greatly appreciated. PK
