I've got the same problem, raised from several owners of the ChessBases products to get the update, receiving the message "upgrade not available for this version" and so on. Then I discovered why. To get the update it is not sufficient to connect the server as a "guest", but it is necessary to create an account, fill in all requested data (included the serial number on the manual cover of the chess program) and then, after receiving a wellcome message, the update will be very easy.
