What do you want. A higher Fritz mark or a better engine?

The Fritzmarktest measures the time Fritz takes to get to ply 11 in a special
position. Before it begins to evaluate the first move in the move list at depth
11 it stops.

You can only compare Fritzmarks between the same versions of programs.
Fritz 8.0.0.23 simply took more time to get to ply 11 in this special position
than Fritz 8.0.0.8.
