Try this: Open a command line window, and type "ping playchess.com" hit return, then type "ping 213.198.75.249" and hit return. If the first command fails but the second one works, then there is something wrong with the DNS lookup for playchess, and it is probably AOL's fault. One work aroudn for this is to put the IP address in your hosts file (do a google search for instructions on how to do this). If both fail, then for some reason the site is unreachable from your computer. Once again, it could be AOL's fault (I am assuming you are not using a router at home). Another thing to check is to make sure you don't have any internet firewalling or security software installed on your computer. It can block Fritz from accessing the site. Bob
