On this I think you're partially right. It may well be that the compulsory habits of us here getting every minor update - official or not - might compromise the regular updates. Remember no one was informed by ChessBase about these earlier updates. If we nevertheless screw around with them while we only heard about them through the grapevine the risk of future update malfunction is ours. J.
