Hi Marc:
No problem at all. I appreciate your efforts. Everyone is responsible for
his own actions. The last unofficial update was not a good idea to try. I take
it that the current update 8.0.0.23 is "official."
I managed to download it the latest update using Playches.com. I am not sure
if it installed. When I now go into Help/About, I don't see a version number but
do see the date 3/5/2003. Does this mean that I have version 8.0.0.23?
If so, is there a "Fritz8.eng" which is also 3/5/03. In my \Engines folder,
the only file "Fritz8.eng" is dated 11/26/02?
