IMO I did the opposite, trying to point the discussion to the simple and important fact that he has discovered an engine bug (and away from emotional overreactions as I see them). As can be read above, Eduard himself is satisfied when somebody gets his main message so to speak, finally. He doesn't seem "assassinated" as you are claiming constantly... >(...) I critizise bad things and support good things, from (A) to (Z), including ChessBase. Also, I'm not the defender of ChessBase. They really don't require me for defense. When I write something which supports them, then it's because I'm convinced of it. I also have made critical remarks. I'm just talking chess, computer chess, software issues,... I don't have a secret mission. Let's have fun with computer chess, exchange information etc. is my endeavour. >(...) The topic was the F8.23 version IMO. You created a topic "character assasination", but I don't join that topic. Btw. if it's about character assasination at all, I guess most other readers will have noticed by now, that you are constantly attacking *my* reputation as being a honest participant in CC discussions. I shouldn't tolerate that any longer. >>Baseline 2 (to make it short): I don't think that I insulted anybody; I think >>Eduard has over-reacted but was right about the fact itself that there is >>obviously an engine bug in 8.23, and yes he is a strong chessplayer and I >>respect his achievements. >>>>(Engl.: Bottomline = Obviously there's an Nf6xe4-Enginebug; that type of >>>>position is *very common* in many openings.
