Subject: How to unpack RAR files

One of my usual dumb questions:
I downloaded SmarThink engine, which is zipped in rar file.
Then I downloaded the program on their site to unpack it.
But I couldn't get the Unrar program to work,
when I click on the .exe file, it gives some lines of info
and then it is finished running.
